What a lack of ventilation!!!

Well, its currently 21.53pm on a Tuesday evening, and I'm watching Paradox on beeb 1, and a week today I will have finished work for Xmas, and hoping to do some work in the garden over the Xmas period, depending on the weather!

But weekend just gone, both me and the wife braved the cold weather to do some work in the garden on the chilly Sunday!

After making my shed look the bee's knees during the summer, the one thing I didn't think of was to add in some ventilation, so on Sunday morning when I went out to check on the state of my Banana plants / trees, I realised that I was getting mould growth on the wooden sheeting that makes up my roof. So decided to take drastic action, grab my sledge hammer and knock a precise 4" hole through my blockwork wall which is 23cm thick!! That way I could fit a ventilation shaft, or in reality a cut off length of Soil pipe left over from the shower room conversion. Then fit a ventilation extract cover.

My wife Amy also started on the lovely job of digging over the existing veggie patch, weeding as she went to get rid of all last years weeds, ready for the digging in of the 1tonne of manure that I need to order after Xmas.

Now I just need to wait until next weekend, and hope and pray for good weather so that we can get out and do some more work.
